Retinavue

The RetinaVue handheld retina scanner is designed for patients who want to improve management of their diabetes. Diabetic retinopathy is the most common cause of vision loss among people with diabetes and a leading cause of blindness among working-aged adults. Results are usually available within a week. The images are read off-site by a board certified ophthalmologist. Dilating your eyes is NOT required.

Takes about 5 minutes and is completed at the end of your visit

Covered by commercial insurance (non-medicare)

If abnormal, we will refer you to see an ophthalmologist and provide you with the report
