Patient Records
We cannot accept direct email attachments of your medical information since that is not a secure way to transmit information and several federal laws prohibit this practice. For patient convenience we have two ways in which any patient-related digital data can be sent to us.
NOTE: If sending test results that a physician at Houston Thyroid and Endocrine did not order, then the uploaded data will be placed into your chart and will NOT be reviewed until your next appointment. If you would like the physician to review the data sooner, then you will need to send a message by phone or via patient portal to let the physician know you have sent some information to be reviewed so that it can be reviewed together at a visit with the doctor.
1. Fax your information securely to 713.795.0855 (15 day turn around to get into the chart)
2. Mail (45 day turn around to get into the chart):

Please make sure it arrives at least 30 days ahead of the scheduled appointment.
3. A non-secure way to send records is via email but it is NOT HIPPA compliant so its not a secure method (14 day turn around to get into the chart):
