1) Suspend the pump. (MAIN MENU, scroll to “Suspnd/Resum“ and press OK; “Suspend” is highlighted).

2) Press OK.

3) Place the pump with its back towards the Actisys IR wireless download cable.

4) When the transmission is finished: Resume pump (MAIN MENU, scroll to “Suspnd/Resum“ and press OK; “Resume” is highlighted). Press OK.

· Please make sure that the pump screen is illuminated when transmission begins.

Asante - Snap

1) Verify that you have the green Asante logo on the label. If you do not see the green Asante logo, the controller cannot communicate with the AsanteSync.

2) While the Snap controller is still connected to the Pump Body, ensure that the Snap system has enough power to transfer data. If ALERT appears on the startup screen, press STATUS to determine the cause. If the cause for the alert is very low power, change the Pump Body.

3) Remove the Snap Pump Controller from the Pump Body.

4) The pump will display “!!ALARM!!”. Press SILENCE to silence the alarm. Then press OK to clear the alarm message.

5) Connect the controller to the AsanteSync.

6) Connect the AsanteSync to the computer using the specific cable.

(Use Roche Accu-Chek® Smart Pix 2)

Notice the data is uploaded from the handset!

a) Connect the Smart Pix to your computer and wait for the blue indicator on the Smart Pix to start flashing slowly.

b) Connect the handset to the Smart Pix.

c) In the handset menu select “Connect to PC” and press OK.

d) Ensure that the pump is within reach of the handset.

e) The blue indicator on the Smart Pix is on while the data is being transmitted from the device to the Smart Pix.

f) The blue indicator turns itself off and both Smart Pix and device emit a sound to signal that the data is being transmitted from the Smart Pix to Uploader. Do not disconnect the Smart Pix yet!

g) Wait for Uploader to signal the upload was successful.

1) Spirit, Spirit Combo

(Use Roche Accu-Chek®Smart Pix)

Please note that a Smart Pix with version 3.02 or higher is required!

a) Connect the Smart Pix to your computer and wait for the blue indicator on the Smart Pix to start flashing slowly.

b) Put the pump in PC link mode (stop the pump and enter the PC connection menu).

c) Place the pump with its IR eye towards the Smart Pix. The blue indicator signals the data is being transmitted to the Smart Pix.

d) Wait for the blue indicator to start flashing slowly again or stop flashing altogether.

e) The data is now being transmitted from the Smart Pix to Uploader. Do not disconnect the Smart Pix yet!

f) Wait for Uploader to signal the upload was successful.
